Those who just want to start learning Japanese and continue Japanese study after graduating high school/university!!

Here is a opportunity to study Japanese in Sydney!!!

Japanese Beginner1

Time: 10:00am-12:00pm
Day: Saturday

Beginner1 is for completely beginner.
We use the indirect method (teaching Japanese in English) because students will be more confident to understand what the teacher says and participate in class. Each class is designed along with the textbook, Japanese for Busy People, and the students will be able to learn the grammar structures through a variety of activities.

This course aims to:
– Learn basic Japanese.
– Understand Japanese writing systems and culture throughout useful expressions.
– Be able to do self-introduction, talk about daily routine and activities.

 

Japanese Beginner3

Time: 6:00pm-8:00pm
Day: Monday

Beginner3 is for people who have already started to learn Japanese before.
The teacher will still use the indirect method but use Japanese which the students have learnt as much as possible. This is because we believe that teacher’s talk is important input for the students. After studying basic Japanese, the students are encouraged to communicate in Japanese more and more.

This course aims to:
– Be able to communicate at shop/restaurant, express objects in detail.
– Be able to express requests, situation, desire, and likes/dislikes.
– Understand further Japanese culture and customs.

 

Japanese Pre-Intermediate1

Time: 6:00pm-8:00pm
Day: TBA

Pre-Intermediate1  is for people who have finished Japanese for Busy People II/みんなの日本語L25~30/Genki L16~18 or HSC Japanese Beginner.

This course aims to:
– Be able to communicate fluently in general conversation.
– Develop receptive and expressive language skill in particular situations.
– Understand Japanese culture and customs and discuss the differences between students’ culture.

 

Japanese Intermediate1

Time: 10:00am-12:00pm
Day: Saturday

Intermediate1 is for people who have finished Japanese for Busy People III/みんなの日本語L50/Genki L23 or HSC Japanese Continuers/Extension(some grammar preview required). Students will learn more complicated grammar structures and synonyms based on what they have learnt at Beginner/Upper-Beginner/Pre-Intermediate. Some authentic materials such as videos with native Japanese will be introduced at this stage to be familiar with native Japanese talk.

This course aims to:
– Become fluent at different language style.
– Develop language skills through expressive activities.
– Understand Japanese society and culture in particular topics.

Japanese Advanced2

Time: 6:00pm-8:00pm
Day: Wednesday

Advanced course is for people who have studied Japanese for a certain duration. Students will develop Japanese through a variety of topics such as society, environmental issue, family, etc. More discussions are conducted and students will explore information in Japanese like they do in their language.

This course aims to:
– Be able to discuss current affairs in Japan through realistic materials such as newspaper and videos.
– Understand business circumstances and cultural manners in Japan.
– Communicate with Japanese people in native level.

 

*Pre-Intermediate, Intermediate, Advanced course require applicants to take level check test.
