Celebrating Success: Interview with Carman-san, a 2024 JLPT N3 Graduate!

The results for the 2024 JLPT have just been announced, and we’re thrilled to share that several students from our school have passed!　*For those who want to know more about the JLPT, click here 👉Do you know what “JLPT” is?

We had the opportunity to interview some of them, and today we’re excited to spotlight Carman-san, who passed the JLPT N3. 

Interview with Carman-san

Congratulations on passing N3, Carman-san!

Q. Why did you get this qualification?

A. I did it for fun, as a personal hobby.

Q. How long did you study before passing?

A. I studied for about a year before I passed.

Q. Which class do you take in BBIC?

A. I took the group lesson for JLPT N3.

Q. How much self-study did you do?  

A. I dedicated about three hours a day to self-study.

Q. What were the difficult points of studying for JLPT? 

A. The most difficult part was vocabulary.

Q. How did BBIC help you in preparing for the JLPT？

A. Having Sae sensei speak Japanese during the group lesson was a huge plus! I went from struggling to listen to Japanese during class to being able to listen to it naturally without overthinking about it.

Q. Do you have any advice for those who are considering enrolling in BBIC?

A. Set a goal for yourself like taking the N3 test at the end of the year and go for it! You’ll be surprised at what you can achieve in a year.
