Hello everyone, Hope you are well. Recently we get many applications from people who are new to learning Japanese. It means that they have not learned Japanese before and just would like to start learning it. So I would like to share with you regarding our Beginner class of General course today:)

Beginner classes are divided into 3 levels, and the level goes up every semester(Beginner 1, Beginner 2, Beginner 3 class) If you are just starting to learn Japanese, you would start from Beginner 1 class. However if you have experience about learning Japanese before, you would take a placement test and we would suggest which class is suitable for you 🙂

What you would learn in each class are as follows :

Beginner 1 class :

Beginner 1 class is for beginners.
We use the indirect method (teaching Japanese in English) because students will be more confident to understand what the teacher says and participate in class. Each class is designed along with the textbook, Japanese for Busy People, and the students will be able to learn the grammar structures through a variety of activities.

Beginner 2 class :

Beginner 2 course is for the people who have already learned time, prices, numbers and counters, Days of the week, dates, motion verbs. You will learn Expressing various daily activities, Describing events,, Giving and receiving, Invitations and offers, Learning Katakana.

We will offer new beginner 2 class every Wednesday between 6 pm and 8 pm from 24th March 🙂

Beginner 3 class :

Beginner 3 course is for the people who have already studied Verbs “Masu-form” non-past and past tense, Adjective and adjective non-past and past tense. You will learn Talking about plans, Making a request, Being warned or Advised, Asking and giving permission, Describing ongoing actions and habitual actions, Expressing current states.

We will offer new beginner 3 class every Saturday between 10 am and 0 pm from 27th March 🙂

There are some benefit of taking Beginner class at BBIC

① Get free ticket to attend Japanese Trial class! 

If you are a student up to Beginner 3 class, you are able to attend Japanese Trial class for free.If you join this class, you could revise the topic that you learned in general class. Also you can make new friends who are from countries around the world !! ※ we can not offer Japanese trial class until the border opens.

② Not necessary to buy textbook

Classes will be conducted according to the textbook of the level suitable for the class. So we recommend you to buy a textbook for lessons. However we understand that it is hard to buy the textbook or you are not sure whether you would continue to take the class. So your teacher will prepare a material so that you don’t have to buy it up to Beginner 3 level.

Private class in Anywhere :

If you would like to take a private lesson, we are able to offer the class immediately 🙂 In addition, we have started offering online lesson!!! Even though you are not staying in Sydney, we are able to offer the private class for you! If you would like know the details, please ask us anytime.

A private lesson is for the people would like to :

• Prepare for HSC examination
• Prepare for JLPT examination
• study at your own pace  etc…
