Konnichiwa! Hope you are well 😉 Finally term 1 has started a few ago!! Thank you to all of you who applied to our Japanese class! Hoping your study would be successful and full of fun. Now we have been starting to accept applications for term 2 which will be started the week of 24th March!!! We are letting you know the schedule of each class. Please check them out and if you are interested in taking class, please send your application NOW 🙂

●Beginner 1 class
Time: 6:00 pm – 8:00 pm
Day: every Thursday
Starting date: 27th Mar 2025

This level is totally zero beginner who hasn’t studied Japanese language before or doesn’t have a confidence to speak and listen Japanese. Beginner 1 class is for beginners. We use the indirect method (teaching Japanese in English) because students will be more confident to understand what the teacher says in class. Each class is designed along with the textbook, Japanese for Busy People, and the students will be able to learn the grammar structures through a variety of activities.

●Beginner 2 class
Time: 6:00 pm – 8:00 pm
Day: every Monday / every Tuesday *We have two classes for Beginner 2.
Starting date: 24th Mar 2025 / 25th Mar 2025

Beginner 2 course is for the people who have already learned time, prices, numbers and counters, Days of the week, dates, motion verbs. You will learn Expressing various daily activities, Describing events, Giving and receiving, Invitations and offers, Learning Katakana.

●Beginner 3 class
Time: 6:00 pm – 8:00 pm
Day: every Friday
Starting date: 28th Mar 2025

Beginner 3 class is for the people who have already studied Verbs “Masu-form” non-past and past tense, Adjective and adjective non-past and past tense. You will learn Talking about plans, Making a request, Being warned or Advised, Asking and giving permission, Describing ongoing actions and habitual actions, Expressing current states.

●Upper Beginner 1 class
Time: 1:00 pm – 3:00 pm
Day: every Saturday
Starting date: 29th Mar 2025

Upper Beginner 1 class is for the people who have completed “Japanese for Busy People I” or those have already studied Nai-form and Te-form of Verb. Kanji learning starts from Upper Beginner 1.
You will learn Asking for advice, Making comparisons, Doing something to see how it goes,
Sitting departments, Going somewhere to do something, Searching for a lost item, Asking for and offering explanations, Expressing frequency.

●Upper Beginner 2 class
Time: 6:00 pm – 8:00 pm
Day: every Thursday
Starting date: 27th Mar 2025

Upper Beginner 2 class is for the people who have already learned level of Upper Beginner 1. Applicants are expected to have already studied Dictionary form, Ta-form, Nakatta-form of verbs. You will lean Going somewhere to do something and come back, Making suggestions, Describing Sequence of Events, Describing changes, Direct and Indirect quotation, Giving opinions, Modifying clause.

●Upper Beginner 3 class
Time: 6:00 pm – 8:00 pm
Day: every Thursday
Starting date: 27th Mar 2025

Upper Beginner 3 class is for the people who have already studied plain form of verbs, plain form of いadjective, なadjective and Noun and modifying clause. You will learn Giving reasons, Expressing potentiality, Expressing volition, Forming indirect questions, Expressing uncertainty, Making hypothetical statements, Making conditional statements, Expressing necessity, Giving directions.

●Pre-Intermediate 1 class
Time: 12:00 pm – 2:00 pm
Day: every Saturday
Starting date: 29th Mar 2025

Pre-Intermediate 1 course is for the people who have already studied Potential form, Volitional form and conditional form. You will learn Expressing suppositions, Expressing impressions, Reporting information indirectly, Expressing causes and reasons, Describing changes coming into effect, Describing continuous changes in this class.

●Pre-Intermediate 3 class
Time: 6:00 am – 8:00 pm
Day: every Monday
Starting date: 24th Mar 2025

Pre-Intermediate 3 class is for the people who have already learnt level of Pre-Intermediate 2. You will learn Expressing intension, passive, Causative and causative passive, Honorific and Humble expressions, Leaving and relaying message, order, Explaining reasons.

●Intermediate 2 class
Time: 6:00 pm – 8:00 pm
Day: every Tuesday
Starting date: 25th Mar 2025

Intermediate course is for the people who have already studied Potential form, Volitional form and Conditional form. In Upper-Intermediate class, the main focus will be on learning expressions commonly used in everyday life. You will learn to reach a level where you can properly understand the main points and background of familiar topics and clearly express your own opinions and thoughts.

●Advanced 6 class
Time: 6:00 pm – 8:00 pm
Day: every Wednesday
Starting date: 26th Mar 2025

In Advanced Course, you will develop a comprehensive set of Japanese language skills throughout discussion, presentation, speech, etc with authentic materials and textbooks. Also, developed grammars are introduced to understand more complex structures and academic essays. At this level, students generally hope to work and/or study in Japan or currently work with Japanese people at their workplace. This course is also helpful for JLPT N2 and N1 preparation.

●J-Plus class
Time: 6:00 pm – 8:00 pm
Day: every Friday
Starting date: 28th Mar 2025

You will develop a comprehensive set of Japanese language skills throughout discussion, presentation, speech, etc with authentic materials and textbooks. The teacher will provide some articles from Japanese newspapers and magazines and show videos how native Japanese people speak. Those inputs encourage students to output in expressive language skills. Also, developed grammars are introduced to understand more complex structures and academic essays. At this level, students generally hope to work and/or study in Japan or currently work with Japanese people at their workplace. So the aim of this course is becoming native Japanese, and the students are encouraged to learn the system of Japanese society and manners in business in class too.
