Japanese Beginner Course

Once you are interested in Japan, you should start to learn Japanese!! Language is a part of culture and studying language allows you further understanding of the culture.

Overall, at Japanese Beginner course, students will learn the basic Japanese. The teachers will provide a lot of fun activities and you will enjoy ‘real’ Japan and Japanese culture throughout Japanese Beginner course.

 

Japanese Beginner1

Beginner1 is for completely beginner.
We use the indirect method (teaching Japanese in English) because students will be more confident to understand what the teacher says and participate in class. Each class is designed along with the textbook, Japanese for Busy People, and the students will be able to learn the grammar structures through a variety of activities.

This course aims to:
– Learn basic Japanese.
– Understand Japanese writing systems and culture throughout useful expressions.
– Be able to do self-introduction, talk about daily routine and activities.

 

Japanese Beginner2


Beginner2 is for people who have already studied basic Japanese before.
The basic Japanese here includes; Self-introduction, Numbers and counters, Describing nearby objects, Time and dates, Talking about destinations. This course is great for students who would like to build up and revise vocabulary.

This course aims to:
– Be able to talking about location and daily routine in detail.
– Be able to describe characteristics of things and people.
– Understand more complex structures.

 

Japanese Beginner3

Beginner3 is for people who have already started to learn Japanese before.
The teacher will still use the indirect method but use Japanese which the students have learnt as much as possible. This is because we believe that teacher’s talk is important input for the students. After studying basic Japanese, the students are encouraged to communicate in Japanese more and more.

This course aims to:
– Be able to communicate at shop/restaurant, express objects in detail.
– Be able to express requests, situation, desire, and likes/dislikes.
– Understand further Japanese culture and customs.

 

In Term1 2018, Beginner1 and Beginner3 will be open!!

Time: 10:00am-12:00pm
Day: Saturday

Japanese Beginner3
Time: 6:00pm-8:00pm
Day: Monday
