Before starting new term in new year, we have some questions from those who are interested in taking Japanese language courses. So we give you information and some tips about our Japanese Langugae School. Here is a collection of frequently asked questions about BBI College. We have compiled a list of frequently asked questions from students in each category.

About BBI College Japanese Language School | FAQ

Q : Is the teacher a native speaker of Japanese?

A. Yes. our teachers are from Japan and there are native speaker for Japanese language with many experience. Also they can teach Japanese in direct methot and indirect method.

Q : Where is BBIC located?

A. Suite 3.03,39 Liverpool Street, Sydney, NSW 2000 where is close to Town Hall Station, only 5 minuets to go.

About a Group lesson | FAQ

Q : How many students normally are in a class ?

A. The minimum number is 3 people and the maximum is about 10 people.

Q : How many terms do you offer in a year? 

A. As of 2023, there are 5 terms per year

Q : How many hours do you have a Japanese class in a term?  

A. It is 16 hours per term which means 2 hours for each lesson and conplete it in 8 weeks.

Q : What is happened if I miss a class? 

A. If you miss the class, your teacher sends the materials that they use in the class. Therefore, you need to self study following the materials. If you have any questions, you are able to ask your teacher before starting the next class.

About a private class | FAQ

Q : Can I reschedule a class if I feel unwell  ?

A. If you are not able to attend the lesson and they wish to reschedule their make-up lessons, you need to notice BBI by 5:30pm on the day before the lesson. Otherwise, full lesson fee is forfeit and no
rescheduling is available.

Q : Can I use my textbook that I have? 

A. Yes, you can. Please request which textbook you wish to use. Your teacher will follow the textbook.

Q : Do you have a fixed date of admission? 

A. No. You are able to start your lesson whenever you wish. Basically, the first class is often started one week after sending the application form. However the time schedule would be discussed beforehand with your teacher’ availability.

Fee/Payment | FAQ

A. As for the fee of group class per term, it is $380.00/term(2024 fee).  A term means 16 hours lessons in 8 weeks(2hours per one time(day). However, we will discount the fee from your second term as early birds. Therefore, it will be $360.00. (When you enrol at BBIC, we charge $50.00 as enrolment fee)

As for fee of private lesson, $60 for 1h (50 mins+10 mins break, 2024 fee) each, $570 for 10 hrs (10 times) with some discount.

Q : How can I pay my fees ? 

A. You are able to make a payment by bank transfer. However if you wish to pay by cash, we might also accept. Please ask us first. In addition, as for the continued students, we will issue the invoice after you decide to continue.

Q : When are fees due ? 

A. Basically, we ask a student to make the payment 2 weeks before starting the class.

Q : Does the tuition fee change depending on the time and day of the week?

A. No. Tuition fees do not change depending on weekends or time of day such as evening time.
